Following Redcliffe and Logan Hospitals, Redlands Hospital was the third multilevel carpark Blend completed. Over 30,000m3 of unsuitable fill was removed from site in order to achieve level 1 certification.

Scope

- Construction of 200m all-weather road (quarry rock) for project access
- Construct 300m2 temporary asphalt car parking
- Clearing and grubbing
- Over-excavation and removal of 30,000m3 of inert/unsuitable material
- Installation of bridging material to span unsuitable subgrade
- Import, place, spread & compact general fill
- Final trimming to underside of slab
- Level 1 certification
- Excavation of band beam footings (3,500m3)
- Load, haul & dispose of unsuitable material from band beam excavation
